Technical Requirements to Advertisement Models

List of the disposed materials:

– printing of the model (with scaling indication), signed by the advertiser

– files

Claims for colour transmission are accepted only if there’s a colour test.

Media:

– CD-R  or CD-RW formatted for МАС.

Layout:

– QuarkXPress, version not later than 4.0 (МАС)

– the copies of the fonts used in the document and the necessary images are to be enclosed to the main file

– the size of the advertisement model (mm) should firmly correspond to the sizes of advertisement models of “Jewellery Review” magazine; for larger materials 5 mm should be left for cutting (so that the information isn’t lost).

Raster Images:

– should be in TIFF or EPS data format,

- colour scale CMYK (for full colour images), Grayscale or Bitmap (for monochrome images)

– scaling images is not preferable in the layout software

- images’ resolution: 300 dpi/inch for full colour images, 600 to 2400 dpi/inch for Bitmap.

Vector Images:

– are accepted in EPS or Ai (v.9) data format

– resolution not less than 800 dpi

– raster images should be linked and enclosed separately

– the fonts used should be transformed into curved.

Models with CorelDraw layout ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
